Butterfly Soirée @ Posh Nail Spa TTDI

I was one of the privileged Butterflies to have been invited to the prestigious, annual Butterfly Project Soirée (spa party) back in May. Seeing that I was one of the community's "warga emas" (or you can say, longest serving batch of bloggers), I was fortunate to be included in this campaign as they were treating us ladies to a day of nail spa pampering and delicious wine with accompanying desserts!

The venue was hosted at Posh! Nail Spa, one of the most successful nail parlors in KL/PJ area. If I'm not mistaken, Posh turns 5 this year and it's hard to believe that they've been only been around this long! The name may sound familiar because Posh have sponsored various print magazines and local events through the years (they recently groomed the nails of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant aka MACIP 2017 ladies too!).

Why?

Upon entering the door, you'll be greeted with this scenery --

The interior of the nail parlor is decorated in white and gold, to reflect its luxurious, POSH theme.

The first thing that caught my attention was the BIG PLUSH CHAIRS.

Did you noticed that there were placed far apart from each other?

I find it very special because most nail parlors would cramp chairs nearby to maximise on its real estate.

Not here.

Here at Posh, you get lots of space.

And more space means privacy.

Privacy is expensive.

Indirectly.

Can you imagine being placed next to a stranger really close for few hours straight?

It definitely would be very UNCOMFORTABLE because you can hear their every little conversation with the nail artist.

(A lot of ladies love gossiping with their favourite nail artist / hair stylist / salon lady. No?)

Plus, what better way to increase your privacy other than THICK POSH CURTAINS?

Bet most of you haven't seen a nail salon in Malaysia adorned with individual curtains to separate each customer! We usually only get this at facial centres where we need to lie down but now we could also have it when doing our nails (even when lying down isn't necessary).

I'm definitely impressed!

Also, Posh takes accompanying friends, boyfriends, husbands and children into consideration by placing a ultra plush sofa in middle of the salon for those long waiting hours!

The attendees came dressed accordingly to the party's theme! So pretty (●♡∀♡●)

Of course, the perfect pampering session couldn't be complete with some French Patisserie and fine wine! We had the good people of La Rose Noire Malaysia to indulge us with their sweet pastries in creatively decorated food tray presentation! We had a few choices of Chous Chous, Petit Fours Tartlets, Moscato and of course, Macarons! Our wine was a bottle of Ca Bianca Moscato d’Asti from Wine Talk Malaysia. How generous!

After having the perfect set of manicured nails, Posh understands the demands of today's busy women by adding a makeup space for that perfect all-in-one-stop package. The beauty of this makeup space is you could actually get your nails, makeup and hair, waxing, eyelash extensions done all in ONE PLACE before heading to your event! You can actually utilize the space and services offered to get ready right before heading to your event!

Also, the space is also part of another offering of Posh - you could host private parties (like this Butterfly Soirée!) or workshops, inline with your theme! Everything can be arranged and discussed beforehand and Posh is really flexible like that.

There are some corners of the salon where nail art compilation are displayed to showcase Posh artists' talents. Some of these nails have been featured in print magazines and even on the runway during the first ever nail fashion show organized by Posh!

I find this wall quite interesting as it has actual nail polish bottles and makeup tools attached as part of the display.

I saw online that Posh! Nail Spa has been the choice of MACIP girls for 4 years in a row now (they have been sponsoring the girls since 2013!). That's something to be real proud of as MACIP is a very prestigious chinese pageant in Malaysia.

These Soi candles were there to set the mood and were given as part of a thank you gift for the soirée.

I did not have the chance to have my nails donned by Posh during the event as my nails were fully manicured during that time but I heard from the other attendees that they loved their express manicures done there. I have some vouchers (yet to be utilized) and I plan to go there very soon as my nails are in need of some TLC right now.

Before I end this blogpost, I would like to thank The Butterfly Project again for being my Fairy-Godmother and sending me to such a beautiful soirée.

This is definitely one of the best pampering sessions I've had in awhile!

It really can transform you into the queen that you are meant to be.
